The speed limit is 25 km/h throughout Vancouver. And adjust your speed based on how busy the area is.
When lots of people are around, go slower. Always reduce speed when passing others.

E-scooters belong on roads and bike paths, not sidewalks. Here’s where you can ride:
- All city streets (stay in the road)
- Bike lanes and cycling routes
- Park paths and the Seawall where cycling is OK

Age: 16 or older You must be at least 16 to ride an e-scooter in Vancouver.
Helmets: Always required No helmet means no riding. It’s the law and keeps you safe.
Parking: Use designated spots Don’t block sidewalks or doorways. Look for proper parking areas.
