The Simple Answer: Yes, Helmets Are Required
According to the BC government, cyclists of all ages must wear a bicycle safety helmet whenever riding on a public road. It doesn’t matter if you’re 5 or 50 years old.
Parents or guardians are responsible for making sure under 16 wear helmets when riding.
