Everything you need to know for a seamless rental experience. Please review our policies on deposits, requirements, and cancellations before booking.
We highly recommend booking online. While walk-ins are welcome, our E-Scooters and E-Bikes rental package sell out quickly during the summer season. Secure your ride in advance to avoid disappointment!
You must be 19 years or older to sign the rental waiver. A valid photo ID (Passport or Driver’s License) and a credit card are required for the security deposit. Riders under 19 require parent or guardian consent.
We offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before your scheduled booking. Raining on your rental day? Don’t worry! We offer free rescheduling so you can enjoy Vancouver in the best weather.
To secure your rental, we require a deposit per vehicle. You can choose:
Credit Card (Recommended): A temporary pre-authorization (hold) will be placed. No actual charge is made unless equipment is damaged or lost.- Debit Card: A $250 Deposit will be charged, plus a $2 Non-refundable Fee. The $250 is fully refunded upon safe return.
- Cash: A $250 Deposit is required. This will be refunded upon safe return.
We prefer Credit Cards for a faster check-in/out process.

E-bike rental operation policy
Walk-ins are always welcome! However, we highly recommend booking online if:
- You plan to rent for 3+ hours or All-Day.
- You would like to rent Premium Long-Range E-bikes, since these are in high demand.
- You want to start before 1:00 PM (We secure inventory for reservations between 10 AM – 1 PM).
- Group Bookings (5+ People): To prevent no-shows, credit card info is required. A $50 No-Show Penalty applies if cancelled without notice. Please email us at vanecoride@gmail.com for assistance.
Pick-Up: Anytime between 10:00 AM and 5:30 PM.
Winter time(Hybrid) Pick-up Anytime between 9:15 AM to 5:30 PM(Overnight package)Return: All rentals must be returned by 5:45 PM(Spring, Summer, Fall season) sharp to our location (181 Smithe St).
Late Return Policy: Returns after 5:45 PM are NOT accepted. If you cannot make it, you may return the next day before 11:00 AM for an additional $20 charge, or upgrade to a 24-Hour Rental by paying the difference.
Yes, per BC regulations:
Minimum Age: You must be at least 16 years old to operate an E-Scooter or E-Bike.
Under 19: A parent or guardian must be present to sign the waiver. If they cannot come, we can verify permission over the phone.
For safety and performance, please note the maximum weight capacity:
🛴 E-Scooter: Up to 100 kg (220 lbs)
🚲 E-Bike: Up to 100 kg (220 lbs)
- ⭐ Premium Bike (long range): Up to 150kg(330 lbs)
